Story

When Alain finally begins his campaign, he travels across the continent, gathering allies and liberating territories controlled by the empire. His journey gradually develops into a larger resistance against the forces that took control of his homeland.

Gameplay

Unicorn Overlord combines real-time movement across a strategic map with tactical battles between organized units. Players create formations using different characters, with each unit able to contain multiple members whose abilities and positions affect combat.

Recruiting new characters, arranging units, choosing suitable formations, and preparing for enemy encounters are important parts of the gameplay. Outside battles, players can explore the world, liberate settlements, complete quests, and strengthen their forces.
