Story

In Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Edward Kenway becomes involved with the Assassin-Templar conflict while pursuing his own ambitions as a pirate. His journey takes him across the Caribbean, where he encounters historical figures and becomes increasingly connected to the wider struggle between the two factions.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue follows Shay Cormac, an Assassin whose experiences lead him to question the Brotherhood. After a major turning point, Shay joins the Templars and begins hunting former allies, giving the game a different perspective on the long-running conflict.

Gameplay

The Rebel Collection combines traditional Assassin’s Creed gameplay with extensive naval exploration. In Black Flag, players can sail the Caribbean aboard the Jackdaw, engage enemy ships in naval combat, explore islands, and participate in land-based missions involving stealth and combat.

Rogue expands the naval formula with Shay’s ship, the Morrigan, while also introducing locations across the North Atlantic and other regions. Both games feature open-world exploration, missions, combat, equipment upgrades, and activities outside the main storyline.
