Resident Evil 6 is a third-person action-horror game that follows several characters as they become involved in a worldwide bioterrorism crisis. The game brings together characters from different parts of the Resident Evil series, including Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Jake Muller, and Ada Wong.

Rather than following a single protagonist, Resident Evil 6 is divided into multiple interconnected campaigns. Each campaign presents its own characters, locations, and perspective on the events, while the different stories gradually connect to the larger conflict.

Other characters, including Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin, become connected to the same global conflict. As the campaigns progress, their individual stories begin to overlap, revealing more about the biological threats and organizations behind the events.

Gameplay

Resident Evil 6 uses third-person action gameplay combining firearms, melee attacks, movement, item management, and encounters with infected enemies. Players can move while aiming and use different weapons and combat techniques depending on the character and campaign.

The game is structured around multiple campaigns and supports cooperative gameplay, with several sections designed around two-character teams. Different campaigns provide variations in pacing, environments, and combat situations while sharing the same overall storyline.
