Story
The story begins after a stray cat becomes separated from its family and ends up inside a mysterious walled city. Alone in an unfamiliar environment, the cat starts exploring the city while looking for a way back to its family.
During the journey, the cat meets B-12, a small drone that becomes an important companion. Together, they investigate the city’s history, communicate with its robotic inhabitants, and search for a way to escape.
Gameplay
Stray focuses primarily on exploration and environmental interaction. Players guide the cat through streets, rooftops, interiors, and other parts of the city, using its ability to climb, jump across suitable surfaces, and move through areas that would be inaccessible to a human-sized character.
The game also includes environmental puzzles and sections involving hostile creatures. B-12 provides useful abilities and assists the cat during the adventure, while conversations with robots and exploration of the surroundings help reveal more about the world.
